What are SINI-U Workshops?

SINI-U Workshops will be hosted via Zoom and not available on the conference platform. Each workshop will be hosted on a separate Zoom link, which will be distributed to registrants prior to the date.

How do I register for SINI-U Workshops?

You may register for one or all three workshops by visiting the registration link on the tab above.

Can I add one workshop to the main conference registration?

Yes, you can add one SINI-U Workshop to the main SINI Conference when registering.

How many Continuing Nursing Professional Development credits are available for the SINI-U Workshops?

Each workshop is two hours and will be awarded 2.0 contact hours for each individual workshop. After completing the evaluation for each workshop, participants will receive their certificate within 4 weeks.

When will I be able to log into the platform for the main conference?

The event platform will become available on July , 2025, so that registrants have the opportunity to become familiar with the layout and available tools. Live sessions will become available at the scheduled agenda time on July 18, 2025.

How do I log into the platform?

You will receive an email with log in details prior to the event. A log in button will become available on the homepage on July , 2025. Be sure to check your spam folder if you’ve registered and have not received an email.

What is the SINI All-Inclusive pass?

The SINI 2025 virtual main conference is one full day, Friday, July 18, 2025, of general and concurrent sessions, posters, and keynotes. The SINI All-Inclusive Pass includes all three SINI-U Workshops and the SINI virtual main conference.

Do I have to purchase the SINI All-Inclusive Pass if I’m only interested in one SINI-U workshop?

No, each SINI-U workshop can be purchased as an addition to the main conference, or as a single workshop.

I’ve already registered for the main SINI Conference, but I’d like to participate in one of the SINI-U Workshops. Can I add a workshop to my registration?

Yes, you may add on a SINI-U Workshop by registering and paying the additional cost via the registration portal.

I misplaced my registration confirmation. What should I do?

Email pe.nursing@umaryland.edu to request a duplicate confirmation.

Who should I contact if I have technical issues during the event?

Visit the live Helpdesk or email tech@vfairs.com.

What are the preferred technical requirements while using the platform?

The preferred browsers are Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Live sessions are held using Zoom, so ensure that your Zoom software is up to date before accessing live sessions.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can log in?

No, you will be able to log in as much as you’d like. However, only one user of the registered email address can access the platform at any time.

I registered for the event, but I didn’t elect to receive continuing nursing education credits during registration. Can I add them later?

If you’d like to add continuing education credits to your registration, you may do so prior to the live event by emailing pe.nursing@umaryland.edu with your registration details. The add on cost is $40.

I registered and paid for continuing nursing education credits. How will I verify attendance and receive my certificate?

Your attendance will be captured as you navigate the platform. You will be required to complete an overall conference evaluation that will be emailed to you, along with instructions, following the live conference. You’ll be able to print your certificate after completing the evaluation. Attendance is required during the live conference in order to receive full credit.

Will I have access to the session recordings following the live event?

You will have access to the platform for up to 30 days following the live event. Session recordings will become available approximately 48 hours after the live event ends. Please note that you will not receive continuing nursing education credit for viewing recordings after the live event has ended.
